Deciding to Buy
Follow these few easy steps for a successful home buying process:
-
The first step when buying a home is to get pre-approved with a local lender.
All offers must have an approval letter from a trusted lender in order to be considered.
Getting pre-approved will help you determine your price range and monthly payment budget and can help you feel more confident in your purchasing ability. Get connected with our preferred lender now, it’s quick and easy!

You’ll want to be working with a Realtor who is familiar with and specializes in the specific city you’re looking to purchase in.
We will assist with securing your financing, explaining property taxes, giving info about different locations within El Paso, prioritizing needs and wants, and providing a stress free buying experience.
As your personal buyers’ agent, we represent you for free, negotiate on your behalf for terms that benefit you the most, and always have your best interest in mind as our top priority.
-
Get to know El Paso! View maps highlighting popular neighborhoods with many amenities nearby and watch our YouTube videos going over the main parts of town while giving more details about each area.
Choose the right neighborhood or part of town that works best for your lifestyle, family, commute to work, etc.
View homes in person, over FaceTime, or through recorded videos in order to determine which ones are your favorite that you’d like to offer on.
If you decide to look outside of the El Paso area, let us know! We have agents on our team who can work in New Mexico as well as many different partners in other states who can assist you if the need arises.
-
Once you decide which homes you’d like to offer on we’ll look into any seller motivations and run comps to determine a competitive offer to suggest to submit.
We will review all of the contract terms with you and make any adjustments as needed and make sure you’re comfortable with your offer before moving forward.
-
Your offer is accepted and you’ll need to turn in your earnest money to open escrow within three days.
When you first go under contract we begin your inspections and will negotiate repairs, credits, price decreases, etc as needed.
During this time you have the option to move forward or back out of your contract and have your earnest money protected.
We will work closely with your lender to keep you on track to close on time while moving forward through the appraisal and closing process.
-
A final walk through is offered and highly encouraged but not required.
You’ll sign your closing documents with the title company in town or a mobile notary to be able to close anywhere in the world.
After signing closing documents and they are received back by the lender they will fund your loan and your house keys will be released.
The title company will file your deed and all necessary documents on your behalf....and now you’re a HOMEOWNER!
